You buy the motorcycle from the motorcycle dealer or motorcycle hire shop at an agreed price, and at the same time they agree the price they will later buy the motorbike back from you, taking into consideration the distance you are likely to travel and the condition of the motorbike.

While you are the owner of the motorbike you are responsible for maintenance and tyres as normal. Once you return from your motorcycle touring holiday they buy the motorbike back from you at the agreed price.
